EMRISE RECEIVES NETWORK ACCESS PRODUCTS ORDER FOR NATIONAL TRANSPORTATION COMMUNICATION NETWORK IN NORTH AFRICA

EATONTOWN, NJ - July 7, 2010 - EMRISE CORPORATION (NYSE Arca: ERI), a multi-national manufacturer of defense and aerospace electronic devices and communications equipment, today announced that it has received an order for approximately $440,000 for network access products to be installed in a transportation communication network in French-speaking North Africa. The order was received from a long standing customer by the Company's CXR-Anderson Jacobson (CXR-AJ) subsidary based in France and is expected to be shipped in the third quarter of this year.

EMRISE Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Carmine T. Oliva said order activity for its communications products in Europe and French-speaking North Africa is increasing and the Company's communications equipment backlog in France is once again growing.

"This order is part of what we believe is becoming an increasing flow of orders for CXR-AJ's network communications products to be installed in communications networks in French-speaking North Africa," Oliva added. "Our business in France has been the weakest of all of our operations for more than a year, but with the recent trend of increased orders in Europe and North Africa, our communications equipment backlog has reached €1.3 million in local currency (approximately $1.6 million), and is now the highest in local currency that it has been since 2002.

"We believe we are seeing the start of a meaningful increase in demand for communications products in Europe, French-speaking North Africa and the U.S., and we expect to see that demand continue to increase in the second half of this year," Oliva said. "As this occurs, it is our belief that we are well positioned to capitalize on the increasing demand with our validated and advanced technology line of communications products, which should positively impact the execution of our strategies to grow the Company and increase value for our stockholders."
